iPhone App Review #10: Xmas Trivia

To round out my reviews of Christmas apps this year, I take a look at Xmas Trivia by Hot Potato:

Xmas Trivia is a cool little app if you like trivia–and I like trivia. It’s straight forward, and is loaded with Xmas trivia questions. Some of the options include: question timer, muting sounds, and number of questions. It’s fun and easy to play. The best part I think, is that i learned a lot that I didn’t know about Xmas. I even used this app to help me with some of my questions in my weekly playlist post. Also, with the option to add up to four players, this brings another level of fun to the mix. You can challenge friends and family members who think they know more than you when it comes to Xmas. The game also has a sign on the home screen that counts down the days until Xmas. The game is arranged with multiple questions, so even if you don’t know the answer, you can still take a guess.

I purchased Xmas Trivia for $.99, and and got it for an early bird price. I checked the price again while writing this review and it went up to $1.99. Trying to get a little extra before Xmas, and sales fall, I guess. I didn’t like that. Keep the price steady.

Overall, Xmas Trivia was a nice app that held it’s own. The only downside would be it’s pricing. I would recommend the app though, despite this blemish.
